Endeca is an unstructured data software and business intelligence player. It raised $65 million from various venture firms. Oracle will take Endeca’s technology. It will combine this technology with Oracle’s ATG commerce offering. Oracle’s move will affect SAP, Microsoft fast search and other vendors such as QlikView and Tibco. This deal will close at the end of the year.
